Halifax - ReBuild 2010
Instead of building new homes in HRM this year, Habitat is building community in a new way by bringing volunteers and trades people together to renovate two emergency shelters in HRM. In partnership with the Saint Leonard’s Society of Nova Scotia (SLSNS), Habitat HRM and its volunteers will be working to make some much needed upgrades to two facilities to help better serve those in needs of services.
Projects at Barry House are nearing completion but we still need more help. Metro Turning Point shifts have been scheduled for Sept. 7 - 24.
New shifts will be added as they are confirmed.
